Banded Drake Ranch is a private, super exclusive, equity-based hunting club, just 90 minutes north from Dallas. Our 550-acre sanctuary provides a diverse range of habitats from pristine natural marshes, flooded timber, oxbows as well as private hunting access on the Red River, making it an ideal paradise for waterfowl that duck hunters will truly appreciate. Our habitat is second to none, designed for the ducks, by serious duck hunters, and conservationists alike. We truly know what good habitat should look like, resulting in thousands of birds annually on their migration south for the winter. We are not a fishing club with a sprinkling of duck hunting or a social club claiming to be a duck club. Our habitat and dirt work is second to none. You will hunt from pit blinds, above ground blinds or next to a tree in timber. What you won't do is be in a layout blind next to a cattle pond...EVER!
Beyond the thrill of the duck hunting, our club offers exciting opportunities to hunt deer, hogs, as well as dove, upland birds, turkey and even bass fishing. Our owners enjoy year-round access to the club, not just for the season. This allows our members to diversify their hunting experiences and create memories with family and friends all year round. After an exhilarating day in the field, our luxurious lodges and amenities provide a comfortable place to unwind and forge connections with fellow hunters and other like-minded, successful individuals. The lodges boast 13 bedrooms and over 13,000 square feet of space, ensuring ample room for relaxation and camaraderie.

BDR also offers private lots to build out your own private sanctuary to host your family and friends. The best part about becoming a member at BDR, your membership is a one-time equity investment that passes down from generation to generation, free of any transfer fees. The only time a transfer fee would occur is if you were to sell your membership. We take pride in offering a variety of exceptional amenities to enhance your stay. Start your morning with a hot breakfast prepared by our in-house Chef. Take a short Can Am ride into waterfowl heaven and enjoy your time in the field. Upon your return to the lodge, you can immerse yourself in relaxation with a refreshing cocktail poolside or enjoy a soak in the soothing hot tub, providing the perfect respite after a day of hunting. Our outdoor kitchen, putting green and our inviting fire pits offer a spot to gather and share stories with fellow hunters and guests, creating opportunities for new connections.

"Main Lodge"

Our property consists of two incredible lodges for our owners and our guests. The main lodge consists of 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and is over 8500 SF. Inside is the "cantina" where we gather for entertainment, meals and our evening hunting draw for the next day's hunt. When sunset rolls around you certainly don't want to be anywhere but upstairs at the "eagles nest rooftop bar and patio" for happy hour and incredible Texas sunsets. The family room offers a massive fireplace and oversized leather couches for relaxing and sharing hunting stories. For those who want a little extra competition, we have a poker room, massive 30x60 putting green and finishing up a 4-hole short course, where you can practice your short game. Additionally, for firearm enthusiasts, we offer a private 12 station sporting clay course, with a 150-yard rifle range and a 15-yard pistol range that are the ideal setting to hone your shooting skills and enjoy some friendly banter with your hunting companions.

The Clubhouse lodge consists of 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,16 beds and is 5250 SF. Inside you will find a magnificent hunting and sports themed lodge where every square inch is 100% tongue and groove pine. This lodge has a full kitchen, bar, two oversized family rooms and a massage room for relaxation and rejuvenation after a morning in the blind. In addition, this lodge offers an indoor/outdoor dog kennel for your canine companions so you can enjoy time in the massive 2500 SF game room, aka "the Fun Zone". The "Fun Zone" is where the party really comes to life, from ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, darts, axe throwing, cornhole, chess and the famous "Longnecks Bar". Three 85-inch tv's to watch and cheer on your favorite sports team. Last but not least, enjoy cocktails and sunsets outside by the two relaxing firepits on the 1000 SF second floor patio or at ground level next to the main wood burning firepit, complete with plenty of Adirondacks chairs.
